Koca Vas Historical Castle From XVI Century. The castle is situated in the village Markovec nearby the Stari trg by Lozu.
Are there any photos of this castle ?
I think the villagers of Zerovnica used to pay rent for the land belonging to the castle owners ( back in 1750s).

Are there any photos of celebrations of the bridal party and their guests after the wedding ceremony ?
What I mean, is in addition to the official wedding portraits taken in the photographer’s studio.

Yes, there are some photos of wedding guests or related to a wedding but none of a wedding party. Probably it was so because of costs and technical limitations of that time.

The practice of photographing the recently deceased.
Children were often shown in repose on a couch or in a crib, sometimes with a favorite toy. Often the dead young children were photographed with a family member, most frequently the mother.
Adults were more commonly posed in chairs or even braced on specially-designed frames. Flowers were also a common prop in post-mortem photography of all types.
Was this type of photography common in Slovenia in the 19th century ?

19th century photos are very rare for the area that is covered by Stareslike. Usually they are portraits. I saw only few of them, but I hope, we will get more in the future.
I saw some pictures of dead persons from the begining of 20th century. All of them were in coffin at home or at church. We published only one of it at: : https://stareslike.cerknica.org/2010/03/18/1934-unec-rudolf-maister-1/

It is an interesting genre, but heart-breaking to see babies and little children.
I have a photo of my stari-oce and a young teta in their coffins at home.
I am currently writing the narrative and will submit to Stareslike for suitability of publication.

Imam nekaj starih fotografij Slovenije. Na žalost jaz in moja družina ne vem, kdo vse so ljudje, ali vedo, kaj je priložnost. Ali obstaja spletna stran, ki jo lahko objavim fotografije in zaprosi za pomoč? Sem objavil na različnih straneh Facebook: Loška dolina skupini in Žerovnica skupina prosi za pomoč. Na žalost še nisem prejel in odzivov.

Unfortunately there is no picture of dancing people published in Stareslike yet. The only photo of a dancing couple is me with Danica (https://stareslike.cerknica.org/2010/02/07/1958-kozljek-druzinsko/). There are many pictures with musicians playing at “veselica” but no dancers.
